Who's Your Mamma...

Well that would be ME!!! We did it! We ran the St. George marathon! Annie. Patti, Larry, and I started and FINISHED... key word FINISHED our marathon this weekend. I was one of the best and worst experiences of my life! It was pouring rain, freezing cold, and had WAY more hills than Patti said :), but we made it. Oh and someone forgot to inform me that a marathon is 26.2 miles not just 26! It was so great to meet all the people, challenge myself, accomplish a goal, and get to know my sister in law in a way I think only this could do. We laughed, cried, whined, cheered, and conquered and I love her so much for it! Thank you Larry and Patti for coming up with this CRAZY idea and helping me go through with it! You guys are amazing! Thank you Annie for being my crutch and soul sista, and thank you Zac for being SO understanding and supportive. You are so awesome and I could not have done it without you!
Will I do it again... of course! Give me a few years or at least months though! Anyone that is considering it... DO IT!! For yourself... you can!!!

And what was my time you ask? Not great... but good enough!
Four hours and twenty eight minutes!

My Baby is a Big Girl!

She did it! My little Izzy is potty trained! She just decided one day that she was going to go in the toilet after a bath and BAM.... never looked back! We tried a few months ago and I could tell that she (or I) was not quite ready. She has had only a few accidents and a few have been my fault. We even drove to St. George this weekend and she made it in the car with no accidents! It's amazing what this girl will do for a "Princess" dress! We are so proud of you Isabelle! We love you!
These are not the best pictures, but she is not one for photos now a days! Crazy girl!

Ava is 8 months Old!

I can not believe that our sweet biscut is eight months old! Where has the time gone? She is just so dang cute! She is so sweet, funny, and good natured. Best of all she is a daddy's girl which Zac LOVES because Isabelle has always kinda been a mamma's girl. She is crawling, sitting up, eating foods, makes funny faces, and can say "da da", "pa pa", "bampa", and "ba ba." Her hair is really coming in and I don't think there is any hope for it sitting down anytime soon. We just love our little Avasita!
Notice Ava was being interupted by mommy from watching our girl Sarah Palin in the VP debate. Smart girl!

Daddy got a Big Ol' Bull!

Zac has returned victorious from his big hunting trip. He was gone for about three weeks here and there. He got this big elk on the LAST day of the hunt. We are very proud of our hunter and are MORE than happy to have him back.
I was not able to go up due to a month or more of illnesses, but Annie and her kids made it up and she got these awesome pictures. Maybe next time......:)
Great job Bub! We knew you could do it! Mike got one too so check out Annie's blog soon to get the pics!

Oregon

The girls and I went to visit my sister and her family in Oregon a couple weeks ago. We were sick the whole time and I think we might not be invited back. We got her whole family sick and I spent half the time in the doctors office. We did sneak in a trip to the zoo and to a farm to pick berries. I will admitt, there is nothing like that here in Arizona.
Her house is BEAUTIFUL! The wood work is way cool and they have a great yard to throw the kiddies in. Isabelle and Sophie were instant homies again and they had a great time on the swing set and playing playdough. Mason and Luke were in school but were nice to tolerate Isabelle the whole time. They were very sweet!
I have to say that I was pretty proud of myself for braving the airplane by myself. Zac was hunting so we went alone. The girls were pretty good, Isabelle got a little bored. Hopefully next time we go we will not be such sloths!
Thanks Betty and Aaron! We had a blast!
Here are some pics of the kiddos. Sophie has the BEST hair I have ever seen! I promise my hair is not as discusting as it looks in the pictures of me. Could I look any worse?

That explains why I NEED to go to Italy!.....Zac???

You Belong in Rome

You're a big city soul with a small town heart

Which is why you're attracted to the romance of Rome

Strolling down picture perfect streets, cappuccino in hand

And gorgeous Italian people - could life get any better?
