Ok so we have been little busy lately nd let's be honest I have not taken the time to do anything to this blog. There are books o read people and that's what I do with my free time!! :) I have TONS of pics to share and I will just pull some of my faves. They will include my ragnar ace, our cruise, and some easter. I would go further back but those are old news! Here's to more bloggin'! UPDATE!!! So I have too many pics on here so Easter will get it's own post!
So we have this little problem in our house that has to do with Miss Ava and her hair. She has this CUTE curly blonde hair (in the back) and one little issue on the top.... it's BALD on the top left side! She has started PULLING HER HAIR OUT and EATING IT!!! I can't say much on the issue because it makes me VERY sad! I have been trying to figure out what to do about it and came up with a solution. She only does it when she is tired and mostly when she is in her bed. The only thing is, is now she sleeps with gloves (well socks) taped to her hands. I feel a little bit mean about this but I would feel meaner if I have to shave her head. (Which my fear is the next step!) Hey, at least she has a cute face!
Miss Isabelle started preschool today. She has been so excited for this day! She has talked about it non-stop for months now. Her school is called "Little Learners" and teachers name is Miss Carrie. She was a little shy at first (which is SO not Isabelle!) but Miss Carrie said that she did awesome after that. I can't believe that my big girl is starting school! I have to admit I was a little teary eyed when I got back in my car but nothing too serious. I am so praoud of her! She rocks my world!
So we found a zoo close by our house. I was so excited to have something familiar to do with the girls that we bought a membership on the spot. We started out with the penguins who were so funny and cute. Then we ventured on to the rest of the exhibits and walked by a camel who was playing dead (at least that's what it looked like) and his friend the BIGGEST freakin camel I've ever seen. The we went on to a few others and then I asked Zac " Is that the entrance?" He said yes and we realized we had been there 25 minutes and been through the WHOLE THING!!! WHAT!?!?!? We did skip the play area and could have spent more time at things but I'm not kidding... this zoo struggles! We did get to see the penguins eat and that was fun. They all lined up on the side of their pool when they spotted the zoo keeper and knew it was time to grub. Cute little buggers! Oh well, we do have a new activity to do a few hours a week!
We found a sweet park close to our house and went to check it out the other day. Zac has been going to work later in the afternoon so he can hang out with us and we love to have daddy along. Ava doesn't seem to want to play on the playground, just wonder to wherever there is the most danger. (i.e. parking lots, forests, empty baseball fields, ect.) Izzy makes friends wherever she goes so she loves it. It is getting pretty humid and hot so I think our days at the pool are starting next week!
One of our first mornings here it was raining and Izzy was excited to use her new rain coat and rain boots so we put on our gear over jammies (awesome I know)and went to play on our deck outside. They looked pretty dang cute and had so much fun. It is crazy how hard it can rain here but sooo green because of it! At leaste they are easy to entertain!
